Man shot in Southwest Fresno, not cooperating with police

Fresno Police say they'd like to find the person who shot a man Saturday morning in Southwest Fresno.

But the victim isn't cooperating.

The man was shot outside a home along the 2600 block of Ivy, near Jensen, around 11:30 a.m.

Fresno Police "shot spotter" technology detected the sound of four gunshots, and officers were sent to the area.

Police say the man tried to run to a nearby alley.

People ran to his side, loaded him into a car, and drove him to a hospital.

He was hit in the lower body and is expected to recover.

He won't tell officers who did it or how it happened.

Police are looking at whether this is related to a shooting shortly before, at a nearby gas station.
