Man killed in stabbing at group home

Fresno Police say a man was stabbed at a group home Sunday afternoon. He died as he arrived at an area hospital.

A man has died after he was stabbed at a men's group home in Central Fresno.
Police were called to the home, in the area of College and Cortland, before 3:30 p.m.

Officers found the victim, a Hispanic man in his late 40's to early 50's, who had been stabbed.

He was rushed to CRMC, but died by the time the ambulance arrived at the hospital.

Police are still looking for the man who stabbed him.

He is described as a 48-year-old man, last seen wearing a red beanie, blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes with black trim.

He is 6' tall with a thin build.
