Driver arrested in connection with deadly hit-and-run crash

The Hanford Police Department says 19-year-old Angel Castillo was the driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed 32-year-old Raymond Romero Jr.

SECOND UPDATE: A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash, police say.

The Hanford Police Department says 19-year-old Angel Castillo was the driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed 32-year-old Raymond Romero Jr.

Raymond's girlfriend, 29-year-old Miranda Garza, suffered a fractured neck. She had an emergency C-section Tuesday and delivered a little girl.

Three boys who were in the car were badly hurt and are all listed in critical condition.

Police are still looking for 21-year-old Abraham Chavez for leaving the scene of the crash. Zoe Barrios is also wanted because the GMC Yukon is registered to her.

Castillo remains behind bars in the Kings County Jail.

UPDATE: Hanford Police has now released the names and pictures of three people officers are looking for right now.

They are 21-year-old Abraham Chavez, 19-year-old Angel Castillo, and 18-year-old Zoe Barrios.

Police need your help finding two people who took off after a deadly hit-and-run crash Hanford.

It happened on Christmas around 8:45 p.m. on the corner of Eleventh and Hume.

During the officer's investigation, it was determined that a white Chevrolet Malibu with three kids and two adults was traveling north on 11th Avenue. As the Malibu entered the intersection, a second gray GMC Yukon was traveling east on Hume Avenue and entered the intersection at a high rate of speed, colliding with the side of the Malibu.

Police say the three children received life-threatening injuries in the crash.

Police say the driver, 32-year-old Raymond Romero Jr., was killed, and a 29-year-old woman received life-threatening injuries. We're told the woman had to have an emergency C-section. We were not told the condition of the baby.

Police say the driver and one passenger of the GMC Yukon ran away from the scene after the collision.
