Girl with leukemia gets special video from classmates
TULARE, Calif. (KMPH) —
Trenity Monsibais hasn't been able to go to school for three weeks because she’s very sick. She has reoccurring leukemia and is now in hospice care. But classmates and staff at Los Tules Middle School miss her a lot, and made her a special Christmas video to show her how much.
The video that was posted on YouTube showed each classroom saying "Merry Christmas" to Trenity, along with teachers and staff telling her how much she was missed.
One teacher said, “I just want to say that you're the most inspirational person I’ve ever met.”
Trenity said the video meant a lot to her, “I like how much they cared for me and all the effort that they did, just for me. It made my day”
Trenity had a bone marrow transplant a few years ago but the leukemia came back. She's meeting with doctors next week to do learn other options to fight the the disease.
