Fulton Street is officially open after more than 50 years
DOWNTOWN FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26 News) -- Fulton Street in Downtown Fresno is now officially open for the first time in 53 years.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Saturday to celebrate the completion of the Fulton Street Reconstruction Project.
It included speeches from those involved in the project. As well as a procession of classic and custom cars which were the first cars to drive down the newly reconstructed street.
City officials say although there are no new businesses on Fulton Street yet, they expect that to change in the future.
