Fresno woman arrested for human trafficking of missing girl
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (FOX26 NEWS) —
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office says it has arrested a 19-year-old Fresno woman for human trafficking of a missing juvenile.
Deputies arrested Nicole Williams on Monday after she was spotted walking to a car with the runaway juvenile. The Sheriff's Office says a traffic stop was conducted and after an investigation, it was determined that Williams was Trafficking and Pandering the girl.
The victim was released to the San Bernardino County Department of Child Family Services.
Williams was arrested and taken to the Highland Police Department for an additional interview. She was later transported to Central Detention Center and booked for felony charges of Human Trafficking and Pandering. Bail is set at $150,000.
The Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing and it believes there are other victims related to this case.
