San Luis Obispo police say they found meth and evidence of heroin sales when questioning two people sleeping in a car in a Motel 6 parking lot.

Michael Crocker, 37, and Melissa Fernandes, 36, are Fresno residents. Police say Crocker is on felony probation out of Fresno County.

In addition, investigators say they found counterfeit money.

More than two thousand dollars of counterfeit US currency was located and additional unfinished counterfeit bills were located in various stages of production. Also recovered was a printer and computer that investigators believe were being used to print the counterfeit bills.
