Fresno County Sheriff's Office looking for 3 men involved in armed gas station robbery

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding three people suspected of robbing a gas station.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding three people suspected of robbing a westside market.

It happened Thursday around 6:30 p.m. at Helm Market and Gas Station located at the corner of Lassen and Kamm Avenues in Helm.

"They came at a slow time, and it was raining," says store owner Abdul Hussein.

According to deputies, three men, all wearing masks and gloves, arrived in a car believed to be a dark-colored Nissan Versa.

Deputies say the men entered the store, demanded money and ordered the owner and clerk to get down on the ground.

"I thought it was my last day," says Hussein. "I thought they were going to shoot me.

One of the robbers held a revolver style handgun at Hussein and the clerk.

Another had a shotgun, and ordered two customers to the ground.

A third man pointed a rifle at the victims, while the first got money out of the cash registers.

Deputies say the men were in and out of the store in a total of 55 seconds.
