Clovis students going to robotics championship
Two groups of students from Clovis are now qualified for the robotics world championship in Texas next month.
Clovis North High School's "Team Stable Circuit" won the rookie all star award at the Central Valley Regional robotics competition earlier this month.
They competed against designers from 46 other schools to build a robot that could shoot wiffle balls into bins.
Team P.O.P. from Fugman Elementary also placed among 112 teams in January by making a new app to help connect pet shelters with pet owners.
