According to the Tulare County Sheriff's Office Gray was reported missing in April 2017 and her car was located about a mile upstream.
The Coroner says there were no obvious signs of foul play and it was believed that Gray drowned.
Family members have been notified and the case is currently closed.
The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says a body has been found near the Kings River West of Dinuba.
A worker was taking a break on Thursday when they spotted the body near the river and immediately called the police, according to deputies.
When officers arrived they determine the body had been there for awhile because of how much it had decomposed.
Deputies say right now they don't know whether it is a man or a woman and they are not ruling out anything.
