2 workers hurt after a structure collapsed in Northwest Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26 News) —
The Fresno Police Department says two workers have been taken to the hospital after a structure they were working on collapsed.
It happened on the High-Speed Rail property near Weber and Cattern.
Police say the workers have moderate to major injuries and were taken to CRMC.
They say the two workers were on a platform when the rebar pillar gave way and smashed into another one.
Police say that caused the other rebar pillar to fall over as well.
The California Highway Patrol, Cal-OSHA and the California High-Speed Rail Authority are now investigating this incident.
