Grilled Hatch and Pepper Jack Chicken Sandwich


Ingredients:


  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 Hatch green chile
  • 1 slice Pepper Jack cheese
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • Green leaf lettuce
  • 2 tomato slices
  • green chili aioli


Directions:

  • Char grill chicken and Hatch Chile till cooked.
  • Grill sourdough bread until desired level of golden color.
  • Coat bottom slice of grilled sourdough bread with green chili aioli.
  • Place lettuce, tomato and chicken on bottom slice of bread.
  • Be sure to place Pepper Jack slice directly on grilled chicken breast in order to perfectly melt the cheese, followed by the char grilled Hatch Chile.
  • Coat top slice of grilled sourdough bread and place on top.
  • Cut in half if desired , then serve.


Grilled Hatch and Pepper Jack Charburger


Ingredients:


  • 1 ground beef patty
  • 1 Hatch green chile
  • 1 sesame seed hamburger bun
  • 1 tomato slice
  • 1 slice Pepper Jack cheese
  • Meat seasoning
  • Green chile aioli
  • Shredded lettuce


Directions:

  • Place ground beef patty on char grill and season as desired.
  • Toast hamburger bun till golden.
  • Cook patty till preferred temperature.
  • Coat bottom seeded bun with Green chili aioli and place shredded lettuce on top, followed by tomato slice, and cooked hamburger patty.
  • Place Pepper Jack cheese directly above meat to perfectly melt cheese, followed by the char grilled Hatch Chile.
  • Coat top bun with Green chile aioli and place over the rest of the Charburger.
  • Cut if desired, and serve.


Hatch Chile Aioli


Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of finely chopped hatch green chile
  • 1 dash of Tapatio
  • ¼ cup of mayonnaise


Directions:

Mix well in a bowl. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
