Chicken 101

On Tuesday morning, Chef Thomas Nelson stopped by the Great Day kitchen to go over everything you need to know about chicken.

If you missed the directions, or would like to try these dishes at home, here are the recipes:

Chinese Chicken Salad (Dressing)
1/8 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/8 cup Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Orange Juice
1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/4 tbsp Ginger
1/4 tbsp Garlic
1/4 tsp Hot Sauce
1/2 tbsp Sesame Oil
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil

Chicken Marsala
1 ea. Chicken Breast: boneless & skinless
1/4 cup A/P Flour
1 tbsp Olive Oil
3 tbsp Butter
1 cup Sliced Mushrooms
1/4 cup Marsala
1/4 cup Chicken Stock
Salt & Pepper

Kung Pao Chicken (Marinade)
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Chinese Rice Wine
2 tsp Cold Water
2 tsp Cornstarch

Kung Pao Chicken (Sauce)
3 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 tbsp Chicken broth or water
3 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cornstarch
A few drops of Sesame oil
