Another Season of Giving in Southeast Fresno

Rosemary said they were getting groceries to make menudo for about 40 people coming to her sister's house.

FOX26 News and Grocery Outlet are partnering this holiday season to give free groceries away to people of the Central Valley, just in time for Christmas.

Watch what happened when FOX26 News reporter Liz Gonzalez surprised a woman shopping for groceries in Southeast Fresno.

Liz walked up behind Rosemary and her sister while they were checking out at the Grocery Outlet on E. Belmont Ave.

Rosemary said they were getting groceries to make menudo for about 40 people coming to her sister's house.

Family is getting together at Rosemary's sister's house because her husband is overseas.

Rosemary's total was over $88 but on this day it cost her nothing.

Liz introduced Rosemary to Ray, the store's owner-operator, who wished her and her family a Merry Christmas.
