When it comes to making wine, there’s more than just putting up grape stakes.
Like they say, “You can’t make good wine from bad grapes.”
In this segment of Farm to Fork, Rich Kreps, a certified crop advisor with Ultra Gro, talks with Steve Schafer with San Joaquin Wine Company and Shafer Ranches.
Schafer said, “One of the things I’ve learned is storage is by far the most critical factor. I mean wine making is an art, but If you’re not storing the wine properly, you could be the best wine maker in the world and the wine is going to come out with flaws in it.”
