Yosemite National Park Fire Continues To Spread

Right now, firefighters are still trying to gain control of two wildfires in the Sierra Nevada.The French Fire is burning in the steep terrain of Madera County, just east of Coarsegold near Mammoth Pool Reservoir.People living in the Kinsman Flat and Mammoth Pool areas are being told to be packed and ready to leave if the fire becomes a threat.So far some 2,000 acres have burned.The other fire is burning near the communities of El Portal and Foresta, right on the edge of Yosemite National Park,That one started on Saturday and evacuations are still in effect.So far, more than 3,000 acres have burned, and it's only 19 percent contained.Both fires are under investigation.Tourist visiting Yosemite National Park grabbed their cameras and took video of the flames.
