Wildfire in Glendora Destroys Homes and Hundreds of Acres

A wildfire burning in Los Angeles County has burned at least two homes, hundreds of acres and has forced evacuations near Glendora.

The fire, which began Thursday morning, has burned more than 125 acres in the{}foothills of the{}San Gabriel Mountains.

Several schools have also been forced to close. Right now there are no reports of anyone hurt.

500 firefighters are on scene.

The area burning is about 25 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
