Get A Deal On A New Grill

Are you in the market for a new grill? Consumer Reports says now is a good time to buy because grill sales have stalled, prices are pretty stable and manufacturers are offering more features on lower priced grills. Here are some Consumer Reports tips when choosing a grill.{}

Celia Kuperszmid Lehrman of Consumer Reports says, "You want to match the size of the grill to the amount of food you usually cook. So that's a good way to start doing the size of the grill, because they come in all different sizes and no matter what size grill you get, you want to look for some key features, like an electronic igniter because it makes it much easier to start and it's much more reliable. You want to look for stainless steel or coated cast iron grates. They do a nice job of maintaining even heat."

Lehrman also suggests you look for shelves and storage space so you don't have to run back to the kitchen.

Experts say you should expect to pay anywhere from $200 to $700 for a grill.
