Special Delivery! Fresno Cops Help Deliver Baby In Car
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
A mother and her new baby were resting comfortably Friday night after an unusual job well done earlier in the day by two Fresno police officers.
The Fresno Police Department says Officers Mike Hernandez and Greg Jouroyan were on patrol a little before 6 p.m. on Peach near Tulare when they were flagged down by a woman who said her sister was in labor in a car.
The two officers barely got there in time to help the new mom safely deliver her eight-pound, seven-ounce baby girl in the front seat.
Paramedics took the mother and baby to Clovis Community Hospital where they were checked out and expected to be just fine.
