Simple Way To Feel Like You Got a Good Night Sleep (Even If You Didn't.)

With busy schedules, stressful days, late nights, it seems like we never get enough sleep.

But experts say there's a way to trick yourself into feeling rested.

Repeat after me: "I got a good night sleep last night. I got a good night sleep last night."

Even if it isn't true, just telling yourself that may be actually help you.

A new study from the National Institutes of Health shows there is a powerful effect to believing that you had a restful and full night of sleep even if you didn't.

The results showed that people who *thought* they were better rested scored higher on simple math tests. The group that thought they had a rough night sleep scored worse.

Researchers say there is a powerful placebo effect at play here.

When you think you are better rested you will perform as if you really are.

And, that mindset sets you up to tackle the day.
