Shooting in Southwest Fresno Kills One Man, Injures Another

Fresno Police are investing a shooting that killed one man and injured another early Sunday morning.

The shooting happened just before 5:30 a.m. on the 2300{}block of{}Weller, near Belgravia. Police say they responded to a call of shots fired and found a 32-year-old man with gunshot wounds lying{}on the ground.

Police say paramedics started CPR on the man, but that he died.

While still at the scene, police got a call of a 18-year-old man who had arrived at CRMC with a gunshot wound to his leg. Police say that victim was also wounded in the shooting on Weller.

Right now police have not identified a suspect in the shooting. They are still investigating and gathering information from witnesses in the area.

A witness who lives in the neighborhood where the shooting happened{}says he heard dozens of shots, which woke him up.
