Security Snafu Greets London Olympians
The first Olympic athletes started arriving in London Monday. More than 300 flew into Heathrow Airport, which is dealing with a security snafu.
The company hired to provide security has admitted it underestimated the amount of personnel needed for the job, and will end up losing about 80 million dollars.
As many as 35-hundred British soldiers could be called in to make up the difference.
Traffic was up 25 percent Monday, with an estimated 237-thousand travelers flying in or out.
The opening ceremonies are one week from Friday.
