Santa's Village Opens In Southwest Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
A Christmas tradition is back and in full swing in southwest Fresno.
Santa's Village is open for the holidays at Kearney Plaza.
They're hosting giveaways, collecting food, and clothes as well to donate to those less fortunate.
It's not just Santa Claus making an appearance, either.
A close relative from the "North Soul" is spreading cheer: his cousin, "Joylicious".
"I'm his cousin! I'm his first cousin! You know, me and Santa, we go waaay back. I mean, we go waaay back back back back! I'd tell you some stories about Santa, but he wouldn't like that. But Santa Claus, that's my man. That's my boy. That's my everything. Santa's just the bomb, so you better watch out, you better not cry, because I'm telling you why: Santa Claus is in your town and bringing broken neighborhoods back to life at Santa's Village," he says.
If you didn't get a chance to meet "Joylicious", he tells us that Santa's Village is open to the public through Friday evening and again on Saturday afternoon.
