Ranch Fire Burns 150 Acres Near Lake Isabella

Firefighters are working on a wildfire burning in the Sequoia National Forest near Lake Isabella.As of Friday morning, 150 acres have burned in what's being called the ranch fire.It's about a quarter mile west of Red Mountain.Nearly 700 firefighters are on hand for this one.Firefighters say it's in a difficult area to reach.No structures are threatened at this point.But nearby Lake Isabella is a hot spot for tourists on 4th of July weekend.Firefighters say that area is not affected.Campgrounds remain open, and the annual fireworks celebration over Lake Isabella will go on as planned.
