Take out your ovaries - lower your cancer risk, by a lot.

A new cancer study is showing huge progress for woman who have a high genetic risk of breast or ovarian cancer. Those women are now being told they can increase survival by removing their ovaries before they turn 35.

This new study shows the risk of death from breast or ovarian cancer goes down by more than 75%.

The study shows nearly 70% of women who have genes linked to breast and ovarian cancer chose to have their ovaries removed.

Even if a woman had her ovaries removed after being diagnosed with cancer, it still significantly increased her chance of survival.
