Police Report To Be Released On Fresno State Football Player

A{}police report is expected to be released on Wednesday, detailing how a Fresno State football player was arrested for drunk driving, and plowing into an apartment building.

Authorities say that{}Jason Shirley, a member of the Fresno{}State football programs defensive team,{}drove into the "Sunridge Apartment Complex" in Northeast Fresno around 11:30 P.M.{}Monday night.

Shirley allegedly drove away from the scene after the crime occurred, but a security guard wrote down the car's license plate number. When police tracked down Shirley, they say he flunked a field sobriety test, registering a blood alcohol level of .11 and .12. The legal limit in California is .08.

Shirley{}is the fourth player suspended from the Fresno State Football team this season.
