Parent Charged In Middle School Pot Incident
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) —
The father of a Madera middle-school student accused of bringing pot-laced Rice Krispies to school is now charged with a variety of felonies.
Eddie Joe Torres, 35, was arrested on Friday by Madera County officers and hit with narcotics, weapons and willful cruelty to a child charges.
Madera County Schools officials say his son brought pot-laced Rice Krispies to school and may have both eaten and shared them with others.
Madera County could not provide more information as officials there say the investigation into all of this is still underway.
