More Spots at Fresno State for 2014-15

Here's some good news for those planning on attendingFresno State: the school will have moreenrollment spots for 2014-15.

President Joseph I. Castro announced Tuesday morningthat Fresno State has been granted an additional 400full-time student enrollment spots.

He had requested funding for 800 new spots. Eventhough we certainly could have used additional enrollment spots, we are pleasedthat more students will have the opportunity to attend next year," he said."It will allow the university to continuegrowing to meet the strong demand from students in the Valley and beyond."

Fresno State wasjust one of the 23 campuses in the California State Universitysystem to issue a request.

Fresno State had a record-high enrollment of 23,060 in the fallof 2013.

This includes full- and part-time students.{}
