Health: Good News About Diabetes
A new study finds fewer older adults are having diabetes complications. Better treatments are being praised for this which includes heart attacks, strokes and amputations.
Researchers at the University of Chicago looked at 72,000 adults, age 60, and found the outlook is a lot better than it was in the 1990's.
The study also found that hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar a side effect of medications that control diabetes is now one of the top health problems seniors experience.
