Man Stabbed to Death In Northwest Fresno

UPDATE: Police say the motive behind a fatal stabbing in a northwest Fresno apartment complex on Wednesday night remains unclear.

Police responded shortly after 9 p.m. to the Casa Blanca apartment complex on North Marks Avenue.

A 27-year-old man was found outside of the complex with stab wounds.

Police tried to resuscitate the man using CPR. He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

What provoked the stabbing is still unknown, but police say that it may be drug related.

Anyone with information is asked to call 621-2423 or if they wish to remain anonymous call 498-STOP where a $1,000 reward is being offered that leads to an arrest.


ORIGINAL: Police are investigating a deadly stabbing in northwest Fresno.

It happened before nine o'clock Tuesday night, in front of the Casablanca apartments, near Clinton and Marks.

That's where police found a man stabbed several times in the chest.

He wasn't breathing.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
