Man Dies After Being Stabbed Outside Fresno Bar

A man died early Saturday morning after being stabbed outside a bar in Fresno.

Police say 35-year-old Omar Perez was involved in an argument with another man inside Ewell's Bar at Chestnut and McKinley in southeast Fresno. When the argument turned physical outside the bar, that's when Perez was stabbed.

Perez was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

The man who stabbed him took off on foot and police are still looking for him. They did find the bloody knife used in the crime in the driveway of a home near the bar.

Police say the suspect is 5'7", 150 pounds, with possible acne scars.
