Killer On The Loose; Man Found Dead In Fresno Co. Field

Chevrolet Tahoe

A Fresno man was found dead in a field near Easton earlier this week.

Fresno County Sheriff's detectives say he was the victim of a homicide, and now they're asking for the public's help in finding his killer.

Investigators say farm workers found the body of 61-year-old Adan Flores-Rodriguez in a dirt roadway within a field near American and Cedar avenues shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to detectives, Flores-Rodriguez went to the Cherry Avenue Auction at Cherry and American avenues earlier that day to sell a light brown or pewter, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with California license plate number 4CVS831.

They say he left the auction sometime between 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. and was later found dead in the field.

The Tahoe still has not been located.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff's Office at (559) 488-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
