Hundreds of Pot Plants Destroyed in Madera County

Hundreds of marijuana plants were confiscated in Madera County on Thursday.

Madera County agents found multiple greenhouses filled with fully budded marijuana plants on 40 acres in the eastern part of the county.

Officers hauled off more than 500 plants to a secret location to destroy the crop.

It is estimated that nearly $1 million worth of marijuana was hauled away.
