Happy Thanksgiving! Here's What Coach DeRuyter Is Thankful For

Fresno State football fans have a lot to be thankful for these days. In addition to, hopefully, your health, happiness, family, and freedom,{}their football team is playing for a conference championship in two days, under first year head coach, Tim DeRuyter. And like you, he too, has a lot to be thankful for.

"I'm thankful that I get to be the head coach of the Bulldogs, and get to be around this tremendous staff and have a terrific team. I'm thankful that we have one more game on Saturday to play for a championship. Those are just a few of things, and extremely thankful for my family. Thankful for the military that gives us the freedom that we all enjoy. So, a lot of things to be thankful for. I'm going to go home, smoke a turkey and probably gorge myself and watch some football."

Hopefully all you thankful Redwavers will be out in full force for this game, Saturday, so the guys on the field can be thankful for a sell out. Fresno State faces Air Force for the conference championship at 12:30 in the afternoon.
