Gun Waiting Period Unconstitutional, Rules Fresno federal Judge

The 10-day waiting period for those purchasing a gun in California has been ruled unconstitutional.

Fresno Federal Superior Court Judge Anthony Ishii ruled on Friday on the lawsuit filed in December 2011.

The lawsuit was brought on by gun owners because they had already gone through the process and cleared to own those guns, making it unreasonable to go through the wait again.Judge Ishii says the wait violates the Second Amendment rights of people who already own a firearm.

Judge Ishii was appointed Superior Court Judge by President Bill Clinton.
