Fresno's Lopez Part Of Renewed NBA Trade Talks
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
Fresno's Brook Lopez is again in the forefront of a potential blockbuster NBA trade that would send him from the Nets to Orlando, with Dwight Howard ending up in Brooklyn.
It is shaping up as a four team deal, with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers also in talks that would involve ten or more players changing teams.
Lopez, who starred at San Joaquin Memorial High School and then became a first round draft pick out of Stanford, is in line for a hefty contract worth between 60 and 80 million dollars.
The seven footer is averaging 17 1/2 points and 7 1/2 rebounds per game over his four year NBA career.
