Fresno State's Baseball Team Looks To Judge

The Fresno State baseball team will rely heavily on Aaron Judge this season. The junior outfielder is on several preseason All-America teams.

With only two seniors on the roster, the Bulldogs are expecting Judge to produce a breakthrough season while serving as a team leader with Austin Wynns and Trent Garrison.

Head coach Mike Batesole says Judge could have had better numbers over the last two years but, because he is such an unselfish player, his statistics may have suffered.

Judge batted .358 as a freshman and .332 as a sophomore, and was named First-Team, All-WAC both years.

Last summer the 6-7. 255 pound Judge won the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby in Omaha.
