Fresno State Stunned By Last Place Team

The Fresno State women's basketball team, battling for first place in the Mountain West, was stunned by last place Nevada Wednesday night in a 60-54 upset.

The Bulldogs had won seven of their last eight games, while the Wolf Pack had lost 13 of their last 14 and nine in a row.

Current Mountain West Player of the Week Ki-Ki Moore had 20 points to lead Fresno State. But no other Bulldog scored more than eight.

Fresno State shot a season low 28 percent from the field, and only 14 percent from three point range.

That allowed Nevada to win its first game in Fresno in the 21 game history of the series.

The Bulldogs had also beaten the Wolf Pack 13 straight times.

With the loss, Fresno State falls to 17-8 on the season, 9-3 in the Mountain West.
