FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
After two weeks of suspense, the lucky winner of the $213 million PowerBall jackpot is no longer a mystery.
68-year-old Carlo Mitchell finally claimed his golden ticket Monday morning in Sacramento.
Mitchell is the second largest single winner in California lottery history.
Mitchell's winning numbers weren't an accident.
He admitted to playing the same numbers every week hoping to someday get lucky.
Mitchell has been trying to stay calm since learning of his big win, but his wife on the other hand, fainted the moment she found out.
The winning PowerBall ticket was sold at the Fast N Easy on Shields and Armstrong in Fresno.
The store is expected to receive about $1 million for selling the golden ticket.
