Fresno City Firefighters Reject Contract Proposal

Fresno City firefighters are rejecting the city's latest contract proposal; saying they don't want to be responsible for fixing the city's problems.

The firefighter's union says it wants the city to come back to the table and continue negotiations with a fair and honest contract.

This comes after city officials proposed a contract that would force firefighters to pay more for health insurance, as well as lose other benefits.

Fresno City Council members are scheduled to meet again on Thursday.
