Favorite Drink Gets More Expensive

The price of milk is going up.

According a new report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, milk prices are up more than 7 1/2% from a year ago.

A gallon of fortified whole milk now costs about $3.70.That's the highest price since September 2011.

Analysts say the price increase is because of higher demand for US dairy products coming from China, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
