Elderly Fresno Couple Searches Night And Day For Missing Dog

An{}elderly Fresno couple is doing everything it can to be reunited with its missing dog.{} Gus Woodley makes daily checks at local pounds while his wife Adela searches the neighborhood near Roosevelt High School where their dog Mugs disappeared on Monday.Gus turned 80 on Wednesday and his one and only birthday wish is to get Mugs back. Mugs is a 7 1/2 year old Pug-Chihuahua mix.{} He slipped out of a yard a couple blocks east of Roosevelt High and hasn't been seen since.{} Thursday Adela and family were walking the neighborhood again handing out flyers to strangers and taping up others on poles.{} Mugs is the family's pride and joy.{} What makes him different from dogs his size is a dark spot along his back.{} "We are attached to Mugs.{} He's small and he's very{}understanding.{} My husband misses him so much."{}Gus Woodley is a colon cancer survivor.{} Adela says{}Mugs made a big difference during his treatment.
