Drought 2014: Governor Meeting With Drought Task Force

Governor Jerry Brown says, "Governors can't make it rain."The governor is meeting with his new drought task force to figure out how best to address the water shortage.Governor Brown says he'll work with farmers and do what he can to get them the water they need.Reservoirs are historically dry this year and the first Sierra snow survey of the year recorded just 20% of average water levels.So far, Governor Brown has held off on declaring an official drought.Still, some counties so parched, they're already requesting help from the state.
