'Dogs Set Sights On Bowl Opponent
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) —
The Fresno State football team is anxious to get back to work in preparation for the Hawaii Bowl matchup against SMU on Christmas Eve.
Senior running back Robbie Rouse, the school's all-time leading rusher, points to the fact that while the Bulldogs are conference champions for the first time in his career, he has never won a bowl game.
Junior quarterback Derek Carr says one of his objectives is to send the seniors out with a bowl win, while securing Fresno State's first ten win season since 2001.
The players return to practice on Thursday.
Odds makers have made the Bulldogs an early 10-to-12 point favorite.
