'Dogs 10-0 After Carr Throws for 7 TD's

In a year that's seen a new school or conference record set nearly every week, Derek Carr threw a career-best seven touchdown passes on senior day in a 69-28 win against New Mexico. Carr threw for 527 yards on the afternoon, and became the 18th player in FBS history to pass 10,000 yards passing and 100 touchdowns in a career. The 'Dogs also clinched the Mountain West's "West" division, and will host the conference championship game December 7.

The Bulldogs offense as a whole set a school and league record with 820 yards of total offense as they improved to 10-0 for the third time in school history. Sophomore wide receiver Davante Adams caught nine passes, four of them touchdowns, for a career-high 246 yards. In the process, Adams set Mountain West records for touchdowns in a game, season (19), and career (33).

Adams' roommate Josh Harper caught Carr's other three touchdowns, as part of a 10 catch, 161 yard day, and senior Isaiah Burse caught six balls for 112 yards. Burse also ran for a 26 yard score on a fumblerooskie. {}
