Deadly Shooting In Hanford; Victim's Name Released
HANFORD, Calif. (KMPH) —
Hanford Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in front of a pharmacy Monday evening.
32-year-old Armando Ramirez Jr. was found lying in the parking lot of the Rite Aid near West Lacey and 11th Avenue. Police say he was shot several times in the head and neck.
Ramirez was taken to Adventist Medical Center, where he later died.
Witnesses told police that a man wearing jeans, a dark-colored shirt and a baseball cap possibly pulled the trigger. They also said a Ford Explorer was seen leaving the area right after the shooting.
A Kings County Sheriff's Deputy found the Explorer a few blocks away from the crime scene, police said. It is now being processed for evidence.
No arrests have been made.
