Turn Clocks Back One Hour This Weekend

Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour this weekend for the annual shift back to standard time, and enjoy that extra hour of sleep.

The change becomes official at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Residents of Hawaii, most of Arizona and some U.S. territories don't observe daylight saving time, so they won't have to change their clocks.

Public safety officials say this is a good time to put fresh batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

The extra hour of sleep will go away on the second Sunday in March when daylight saving time returns.
