Choking Concerns: Toy Cars Recalled

About 50,000 toy cars are being recalled because they may be dangerous.

The recall affects Mini Vehicles manufactured by Green Toys Inc. in Mill Valley, California.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the wheels and hubcaps on the toy cars can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Green Toys has received 10 reports of wheels and hubcaps detaching or loosening from the cars. No one has been hurt.

The toys were sold at supermarkets and other stores from April through June of this year for about $8.

The CPSC says anyone who purchased these toys should take them away from children immediately and contact Green Toys for a full refund: (888) 973-3421.
