Chicago Cubs Pitcher Matt Garza's Home Burglarized
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) —
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary at the home of Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza.
Early Tuesday afternoon, deputies went to Garza's home in rural Fresno County after receiving a call about a burglary.
Detectives believe the break-in happened sometime between January 26 and January 31.
Garza's 2008 American League Championship ring is among the items that were stolen.
The ring is engraved with his full name on the inside and is described as having several white diamonds and one yellow diamond.
Garza earned the ring while playing with the Tampa Bay Rays. It's valued at $30,000.00
