UPDATE: One Jewelry Store Robbery Suspect Surrenders To Police

UPDATE: One suspect from an attempted armed robbery in Fresno is now in custody. The suspect seen wearing a "Hollister" shirt in the surveillance video turned himself into police in Modesto on Thursday.Fresno police say both suspects are 17-years-old and are both from Modesto.Fresno police served three warrants in Modesto on Wednesday after someone recognized them in the video.The second suspect is still on the run.

Fresno police are asking for the public's help in finding two men who tried to rob a jewelry store last week.

Officers say two people walked in to Marlene's Jewelry on Kings Canyon Friday afternoon.

The two acting like they were customers but then one of them pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The owner of the business was in the back office when he heard his cousin yell they were being robbed.

The owner came out of the office armed with a shotgun.

One of the robbers saw the owner and stumbled toward the door, yelling for his friend to shoot, but he ran too.

Both men were clearly captured by surveillance cameras and police hope someone will recognize them.
